Fengshui
Feng Shui uses extremely powerful mechanisms that act upon our psyche and thus upon the quality of our lives through the way we organize our homes. This discipline is often described as ‘home psychology’ or ‘mirror-home’ and tends to durably develop a sense of well-being and inner peace within you.
All books and all websites on feng Shui will give you the same explanations regarding colors, vibes, energy streams and the position of your bed.
We think, however, that Feng Shui is the most powerful if we analyze our environment with our brain. Indeed, we are the latest version of human race. How many generations were born before us so that we could tend to perfection? From ages, our ancestors have spent each minute of their own lives programming for us the mechanisms that are mostly linked to our survival.
For instance, if you enter a house and the walls are painted in white and with no furniture, you may think it is perfect for meditation but you then realize something is missing, the essential. Your brain sends you a message telling you that in order to survive, you need :
- water
- food
The role of our brain is to make us look for an environment where we can find water and food. The first actions of Feng Shui enable us to reduce natural stress caused by the lack of the essential; thus things like a waterspring, a plate of fruits, pictures of fields and nature, etc. are advised.
That is the most efficient role of Feng Shui on human being. It helps reducing all sorts of tensions caused by the search of an environment where we can survive. In fact Feng Shui is an advanced version of the Maslow pyramid. No one can open up to self-development with an empty stomach and hunt by a tiger (or a boss!). First we need to take care of our basic needs and then of luxury.
As you can understand, we do not associate Feng Shui with some kind of dark science, esoteric, mysterious or paranormal… Is there a link with the Energy, the Up Above or something that is superior to us? It is possible but remains yet unproven. That is why we welcome all hypotheses and are deeply convinced that rational and irrational join in order to define some common ground for Feng Shui.
Therefore we can walk together and analyze whether your home tends to cause you stress in some areas of your life. Both consultations and trainings will help you define that.
In conclusion, Feng Shui is a discipline that allows us to leave our fear of existing behind and to live each moment of our lives with a deeper meaning.
